This book was so sweet. It put the 𝘴𝘸𝘦𝘦𝘡 in Sweet River. I loved seeing Lucy and Adam’s story come alive. It reminded me so much of the movie The Kissing Booth and like coming home after a long, hard day. It’s such a cute, cozy, summer-y romance. The banter was soooo good. There were so many lines that I have audible and physical reactions to (swipe to see a few).

Becca Jo (again!) wrote such believable characters with such understandable motivations. Adam is such a sweetheart, but also flawed (which he should be because everyone is) and I loved it. Lucy struggled with letting go and believing in herself, which is something I can totally relate to. There was such a great balance of the romance plot line and sub plots that made the story interesting. I look forward to continuing the Sweet River series!
